Man & Machine - Ambassador Mix (08 June 2000).mp3
Shit starts with smooth, chilling house tunes, then suddenly advances to a fast-paced more progressive surprise. Includes some house classics, even minimal shit as if all known todate music styles would've wanted to be compiled into one mix ;) Shit comes to an end with cry-my-brain-apart trancy beta stuff by Chotaire. The tracklist (and order) is not really turning me on nowadays, but since it includes a few own tracks and remix attempts aswell and is very cleanly mixed (although lame equipment back then, hrhr) I still feel like this is one of my evergreens! This is one of those mixes that you record into your brain after a couple of times listening, enjoy this and keep in mind, sometimes a commerce hear&feel must be ok for you.
Man & Machine - Last Train to KuBa (27 Apr 2002).mp3
This is a recording from my last residential session in the old daze KuBa (club) before it was closed for rebuild. I was prepared with a set of own (unreleased) remixes. I love this mix. It hits you right in the stomach with a few classic tunes and is a very well mixed and studied set. Call it a lucky strike. This is a house, progressive house and trance-based compilation. Mind the two quite commercial tracks at the end though and the lame equipment/sound quality, I still think you will like the result, grab it!
Man & Machine - Vinylshow 120703.mp3
Back from a hardcore shopping trip, I couldn't resist spinning some new vinyls. Enlighten yourself and listen to interesting, sometimes even experimental house tracks. Some filter house, some euro techno, even jazzy approaches. I bet it was Jesus helping me do a great mix without even knowing most records. A stunning one! Grab it!
Man & Machine - Jut Nacht 261003.mp3 House and ambient.. moving to tribal over one interesting 80's remix.. then some seattle incfluenced, happy and decent house and one more 80's remix, with a big touch of euro. ;) Let's hope you like the 80'ies and tribal, then you better grab this shorty! Impressive mixing. Jupp.
Man & Machine - 3Deck Madness 130104.mp3
Mixing with three turntables isn't that easy and comes with risks ;) Fast spinning here and surprisingly only a few slight fuckups. "Sneaky" house, Tech-House, some 89 acid, some lofi, whatever comes at hand. Lots of music in a short playtime. Yes, this is an overall quite good one.
Man & Machine - Avanti Gardisti Sessions (28-29 May 2004).mp3
I shall welcome you back to one really nice mix (2x15 mins) filled with audio drugs for all summer lovers! Hear smashing downtempo beats and groovy basslines such as nice deep waves, add a big touch of ambience, but keep directed at the dancing leg.. evolve to some lo-fi crazyness... go over to some faster us-style vocal techno, funky house and then some high quality euro club techno tracks. If you like stuff similar to William Orbit and Timo Maas, then hear this in your car and understand why this gets two stars at the moment ;) Please bear with some mixing hyperactivity, but fucking grab it! ;)
Man & Machine - Long Range Missile (12 Sept 2004).mp3
This is probably the last summer weekend until weather is getting shitty again. Here we go with a set full of kickass progressivehouse and tech-house tunes. This mix features one of the best tunes in any M&M mix. This mix received its name since it seems my mixing between each tracks seems going forever. Unfortunately, mixing is not always perfect, as these long range mixes are quite risky indeed ;) There are no fuckups, but the educated ear will hear what I'm talking about. This is the only reason why this is no 2-star mix for the time being. However, the vinyls rock ass, you must grab this one for sure. Enjoy the summer and listen LOUD!
Man & Machine - Finger inne Futt (27 Nov 2004).mp3
Well, right now I have no other choice than giving this mix a 2-star rating. The reason is simple, technically it's perfectly mixed, I don't hear any single slight fuckup, which hasn't happened since "Last Train to KuBa" (which wasn't even mixed from vinyl). Also, this mix is full of kewl tracks that everybody will enjoy dancing to, besides maybe one gay "put your finger inne futt muzzak" - but hey you know them girls ;) I can only find one point to brag about (yes, I'm my own most nasty critics guy), and that's the point that I even dared mixing harmonic vocal house tracks that don't really belong together. However, although harmony gets lost at two spots, I still did it so well that it can be forgiven for sure, so what we have left is one true kick-ass mix worth leeching for sure. This - mix - rules! #1 in 2004!
Man & Machine - Midnite Cruiser (09 Jan 2005).mp3
Grab the best euphoric progressive trance you can find in actual releases (which is not much to choose from, hehe), mix it smooth and clean, and you get a trip back into early 90'ies history, when melodic techno music was still sweet ass. This is one nice mix for everyone who wants to feel like back in time when back on plastic. Enjoy dreaming... Not exceptionally mixed, but truely clean.
Man & Machine - Elektronikus (03 April 2005).mp3
This one is a bit harder than the usual M&M mix. Straight 4/4 stuff, very progressive. A mixture between Electro, Progressive House, Minimal but kicking techno/tech-house. Mixing is clean, music is nice, legs are breaking. It's a bit more sophisticated than most other M&M mixes, this is nothing for barbie girlie. Download this mix, if you're more into dancing than dreaming. You will like it!
Man & Machine - Musique du Soleil (06 Jan 2006).mp3
It's been a while and it was worth the wait. Here comes one mix that features smooth spinning and truely fantastic Electroclash vinyls. Listen to this loud, listen to this twice, and you will feel the sunshine in your ears. It will touch you and it will last. This is a tribute to Stuart Price, the greatest producer of the new millennium. Furthermore this is a thank you for someone who gave me back some motivation which I needed desperately. And last but not least this is the start for the Osterparty 2006 practice - testing my new Final Scratch terminal. Some vinyls are a few months old... The mix still rocks. Happy new year!
Man & Machine - The Blessed (02 Jul 2006).mp3
I just grabbed some records and started, this is no studied set. This is one attempt to make new exciting songs out of 2 boring and completely different ones. A bit too much change of style without warnings but all in all this one rocks. This is the hardest M&M mix in ages, great for the feet. Style: Techno, Electro, Tech-House, Electroclash. The set and the long range mixing is worth listening to. Sometimes a bit repetitive, but hey is this techno?
Man & Machine - Tanztorpedo (05 Feb 2011).mp3
3 Decks, 2 Legs, 1 Mix. Chotaire spins back live after 5 years with a long-range mixing torpedo that recreates fantastic vinyls by Deadmau5, Gabriel Ananda, Laserkraft 3D, DBX and more. This session features extremely lengthy overlays of sometimes more than 6 minutes and the festival gets complete by bringing a third record on top. Live mixing is an art - and this is how it's done. Try this at home, kids.
